Week of April 29, 2024
Dear Paramus Catholic Families,
In Pope Francis’s weekly address to the people, he states. “Today, let us look at the tree of the cross so that hope might germinate in us…that we might be healed of our sadness”. He continues, "Let us do spring cleaning within our souls”. This is certainly profound as May is dedicated to Mary, a month of hope and growth when nature is reborn.
Please join us on Thursday, May 2, 2024, as Paramus Catholic’s Fine and Performing Arts department will be on full display as we host our annual Spring Concert at 7:00 and Art exhibition at 6:30. In addition, we welcome future Paladins at our final Open House starting at 7:00 pm.  An exciting evening at Paramus Catholic!
As many local roads are under construction, please allow sufficient time for students to arrive at school on time. The warning bell rings at 7:45 am and Homeroom starts at 7:50 am. Students arriving after the second bell are considered late for school.
In honor of our Blessed Mother, the school community will recite a decade of the Rosary during Homeroom in May. Any student who wishes to lead the decade may see me. I encourage it to be said in various languages.
The Junior Prom was successful. Thank you to all those who attended.
As we are approaching the end of the school year, there are many festivities that our young people will be attending. Please set boundaries for them, as impulse decisions can be hazardous. Maintain open communication with your child about what your expectations are and if theirs differ from yours. Their responsible behavior is key. Above all, please tell them that you are there to help no matter what.
Thank you for all that you do!
In your gratitude,
Dr. Stephanie Macaluso
President/Principal
